Osinbajo: If elected president, I’ll complete what Buhari started
.
.
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo says if he is elected president, he will complete the works started by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Osinbajo said this while declaring his intention to run for office of the president on Monday.
The vice-president said his plan is to establish the “Nigeria of our dreams in a few short years”.
“I have spoken to small and large businesses. I stood where they stood and sat where they sat. I know their hopes, aspirations and fears; and I believe that those hopes and aspirations are the seeds for the great Nigeria that we all desire,” he said.
“I believe that the very reason why the Almighty God gave me these experiences, these insights, and these opportunities, is that they must be put to the use of our country and its great peoples.
“Which is why I am today, with utmost humility, formally declaring my intention to run for the office of the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, on the platform of our great party, the All Progressives Congress.”
The vice-president said he would focus on creating a tech economy, lifting 100 million out of poverty and security, among other areas.
“Above all, front and centre of our efforts will be the provision of jobs and opportunities for our young people,” he said.
“I now most solemnly and respectfully seek the support of fellow Nigerians everywhere in this land, and the diaspora, young and old, male and female, in the great and exciting journey that we have ahead of us.”
Osinbajo said Nigerians should unite and have a country “where all are treated fairly, justly and with respect”

Is PayPal a completely free service?

This is a question that many people have, and the answer is a little bit complicated. PayPal does not charge users to send or receive money, but some fees are associated with certain transactions. For example, if you want to use PayPal to buy something, the seller may pay a fee for the transaction. Additionally, if you receive money from someone outside of the United States, PayPal may charge a fee for converting it to your local currency.

Despite these fees, PayPal is still one of the most popular ways to send and receive money online. This is because it is straightforward to use and offers many security features. For example, PayPal allows you to keep track of all of your transactions in one place, and it provides a way to dispute charges if there is a problem with a purchase.

Info like your phone number, email address, and residential address.

How To Link Your Nigerian Debit Card To Your PayPal Account

Once your account is created, the next step is to link your Nigerian debit card. To link any of your valid Nigerian cards, you will have to be logged in to your Paypal account, scroll down till you see Link a card option, click on it and type in your card info. If your card is valid, it will automatically be linked to your PayPay account for immediate transactions.

How To Send Money With Your PayPal Account

To send money with your PayPal to anywhere in the world, you will need to login into your PayPal account, click on the menu button on the left side of your screen, and select the Pay & Get Paid option. On the next screen, you will be required to put the recipient’s PayPal Name, Username, Email, or Phone number. After putting the receiver’s info, add the amount you want to send. If you wish, you can add a note for reference, then click continue to review the entered info. After confirming that the information you entered is correct, you can click the Send button to transfer the fund from your account to the recipient’s PayPal account.

How To Receive Money With Your PayPal Account

To receive money through a PayPal account in Nigeria, you must make sure you have your credit card linked to your PayPal account, then send your already verified PayPal account’s email or phone number to the sender for the transfer. Note, it may take up to 48 hours (two days) for the sent money to reflect in your Nigerian bank account.

Top PayPal Alternatives:

Venmo:

Venmo is a mobile payment app designed by PayPal Holdings, Inc in 2012. It allows users to send and receive payments from others using their mobile phone number or email address. Venmo also allows users to buy and sell Bitcoin. PayPal Holdings, Inc. also owns PayPal, a digital payment service used by online merchants and consumers to make payments and receive money.

Skrill:

Skrill is a digital wallet that lets you pay for goods and services online without exposing your credit card details. You can use Skrill to pay for items on eBay, Amazon and other merchants’ websites. You can also use it to receive payments from others. Skrill works with major debit and credit cards and popular e-wallets, such as PayPal.

Google Pay Send:

Google Pay Send, formerly known as Google Wallet, is a digital wallet that lets you store your debit and credit card information in one place. You can use it to pay for items online or in stores that accept contactless payments. You can also use it to send money to others. Google Wallet is available as an app for Android devices and a browser extension for Chrome.

Cash App:

This app is owned by Square, which makes those mobile credit card readers. Cash App lets you easily send and receive money with just a few taps on your smartphone. You don’t need to create a separate account; you can use the Cash App to pay people who already have the app. Square also offers a Cash Card, a physical debit card that you can use to spend your Cash App balance anywhere Visa is accepted.

Conlusion

I have been using the PayPal payment gateway as my preferred payment option whenever I buy anything online for a long time, and I have not regretted it for once. If you are a business owner, you need to open a PayPal account in Nigeria. Once you have a PayPal business account, you can accept payments from people outside Nigeria. You can choose which currency you accept and then use the converter to convert it to USD. After that, you can then set up a website or a mobile application to accept payment.
